Managed Services
Managed services for the infrastructure your business runs on
24/7 operations, hardening and optimization for the open-source data, AI and cloud platforms behind your products, run by the engineers who build them.
Why it matters
Open source is powerful, and unforgiving when under-resourced
Kafka, Spark, Cassandra and Airflow give you scale and freedom from lock-in. They also demand constant patching, tuning and expertise that few teams can staff around the clock. We provide that operational depth long after the initial build, so your engineers can spend their time on the product.
What we manage
Orchestration
PlatformsApache Airflow on MWAA, Cloud Composer, Astronomer or Kubernetes
What we doUpgrades, DAG reliability, deadline alerting and cost tuning (see the Airflow page)
Streaming and messaging
PlatformsApache Kafka, Schema Registry, RabbitMQ
What we doMulti-AZ replication, partition and consumer-lag management, zero-downtime patching
Data processing
PlatformsApache Spark
What we doCluster tuning, autoscaling, job optimization and cost control
Databases and caches
PlatformsApache Cassandra, Redis
What we doCapacity planning, repair and compaction, replication, backup and restore
Containers and platforms
PlatformsKubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE), Helm
What we doCluster upgrades, security patching, autoscaling and workload reliability
Observability
PlatformsPrometheus, Grafana, Thanos, OpenTelemetry
What we doLong-term metrics, SLO dashboards, alert tuning and on-call integration
Cloud operations
PlatformsAWS, Azure, Google Cloud
What we doLanding-zone hygiene, security posture, backups and cost governance
AI operations
PlatformsLLM applications, RAG pipelines, model endpoints
What we doQuality regression testing, guardrail monitoring, token-cost tracking and model-version upgrades
Applications
PlatformsSoftware we built, or inherited from others
What we doL2 and L3 support, bug fixes, dependency updates and minor enhancements
Operating model
An operating model built on SRE discipline
- Service levels you can measure: response-time SLAs by priority, plus service-level objectives agreed for the systems that matter most.
- ITIL-aligned processes: incident, problem, change and release management, adapted to your governance.
- Blameless post-incident reviews: every P1 gets a root-cause analysis and a tracked fix within 5 business days.
- Runbooks and automation: a repeat issue becomes an automated remediation, not a repeat ticket.
- Continuous improvement: a reliability, security and cost backlog, reviewed with you every month.
- Your tools, your visibility: we work in your ticketing, chat and paging tools, and every dashboard is shared.
Service tiers
Three tiers, one standard of care
Essential, Professional and Enterprise tiers, with coverage and response times defined per platform.
Swipe sideways to read the full table.
| Tier detail | Essential | Professional | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | One production environment, business-hours criticality | Several environments, revenue-impacting pipelines | Mission-critical, regulated or multi-team platforms |
| Coverage | Business hours, Monday to Friday India Standard Time (IST, UTC+05:30) | 24/7 for P1; business hours for P2–P4 | 24/7 for all priorities |
| P1 response | 4 business hours | 1 hour | 15 minutes |
| P2 response | 1 business day | 4 hours | 1 hour |
| Monitoring | Platform health | Platform health and pipeline deadlines | Platform, pipelines and business SLO dashboards |
| Patching and upgrades | Quarterly cycle | Monthly; critical CVEs within 7 days | Continuous; critical CVEs within 72 hours |
| Platform engineering hours | Advisory | Hands-on fixes up to N hours a month | Dedicated pipeline engineering capacity |
| Service reviews | Quarterly | Monthly | Monthly, with a named technical account manager |
| Disaster-recovery test | Annual | Twice a year | Quarterly |
Priority definitions
P1 Critical — production Airflow unavailable, or business-critical pipelines failing with no workaround. P2 High — degraded performance or a partial outage affecting important pipelines. P3 Medium — a non-critical issue with a workaround. P4 Low — questions, requests and planned changes. Response time is the time until an engineer is actively working the issue; resolution targets and service credits belong in the contract, not on the website.
Transition
A transition that never puts production at risk
- 1
Knowledge transfer: 2–3 weeks architecture walkthroughs, runbook review and access setup.
- 2
Shadow: we observe your team handling live operations and document what was never written down.
- 3
Reverse shadow: we lead, your team observes and signs off.
- 4
Steady state: full responsibility under the agreed service levels, starting with a 30-day hypercare period.
Reporting and governance
- Monthly service report: SLA attainment, incidents and root causes, changes, capacity and cost trends, and open risks.
- Quarterly business review: roadmap, upgrade plans, the improvement backlog and a commercial review.
- Live dashboards: platform health and service levels, visible to your team at any time.
- Commercials: a predictable monthly fee per tier and environment, with optional pooled hours for enhancements.
FAQs
Can you manage platforms you didn't build?
Yes. An onboarding assessment documents the current state, risks and quick wins before we take responsibility.
Do you replace our team?
Only if you want us to. Most clients use us to cover nights, weekends and deep platform expertise while their engineers focus on the product.
How do you handle security and access?
Least-privilege access through paths you approve, every action logged, and data touched only when an incident requires it.
Can we start with one platform?
Yes. Many clients start with Airflow or Kafka and expand once the model is proven.
